Window 2 - The Baptistry
This window symbolizes the Baptism as the Paschal Mystery.
In the sacrament of baptism
we die with Christ to rise
to new life (tomb, sun of Easter morning). The Lamb of God
expresses the idea that we have
been cleansed by the blood of Christ. The Easter lily
has pierced the ground and appears
in its white splendor recalling the white garment
given after baptism. |
